I am wondering if it is a secure site since I will be posting my PayPal account and my guests will be using their financial accounts. I was also wondering about the fees. Are there any hidden fees or is it really only $10/ month? Also, could you send me a more detailed explanation of just exactly how this registry works.

Thank you for inquiring about Registry Palace. Valerie and I created Registry Palace for our own wedding (see: http://MichaelandValerie.com) because we were alarmed at the outrageous cost of all the other wedding registries on the web. They first say they are free then they take a 10% to 25% fee! On top of that they have a "check fee" and the worst thing that they do not give you your money immediately.

It was so convenient for Valerie and I to use the money to pay for the wedding expenses as the money came in. We were also able to log into our PayPal account from the cruise ship on our honeymoon and use the money from late arriving gifts. The other money registry sites don't tell you that you would have to pay an additional check fee to receive your late arriving registry donations.

      Registry Palace charges only $24.95 every 6 months. Your first month is free with absolutely no obligation. You may simply create your Registry and send yourself a sample $.01 cent payment to see that your money is IMMEDIATELY posted to your PayPal account and that Registry Palace has not taken any additional fees.

      All the transactions are secure because they happen on PayPal's site. NOT on Registry Palace. Registry Palace is simply a place to create a registry that will send people to PayPal with all the information they need to easily send you the money. Registry Palace will also keep track of the gifts you receive.

PayPal allows you a free "Personal Account", but if you want your guests to be able to use their credit cards you need a "Business account" and PayPal will charge up to a 3% fee on the credit card transactions only.
